What is an e-foil?

An e-foil is an electric surfboard with an underwater hydrofoil (wing) that lifts the board above the water surface. You steer with a wireless hand controller and can ride at up to 40 km/h.

Do I need experience to drive an e-foil?

No! E-foils are designed for both beginners and experienced riders. Most people learn the basics within 1-2 hours. We recommend starting in calm water.

How long is the battery life?

Depending on the model and driving style, the battery lasts between 60-120 minutes. The charging time is approximately 2-3 hours.

How fast can an e-foil go?

Most e-foils reach speeds between 30-45 km/h. Beginners usually start at lower speeds (10-15 km/h) and gradually increase as they become more comfortable.

What weight can an e-foil handle?

Most e-foils can handle riders between 50-120 kg. Check the specifications for each model for exact weight requirements.

Can I use e-foil in saltwater?

Yes! E-foils work great in both salt and fresh water. Remember to rinse your e-foil with fresh water after use in salt water to extend its lifespan.

Do I need a driver's license or permit?

In Sweden, no special driving license is required for e-foil. However, normal maritime traffic rules apply and you should stick to permitted areas.

Is it difficult to learn?

Most people can get up and running within 1-3 hours. It requires balance and coordination, but is easier than traditional surfing because you get motor support.

What happens if I fall into the water?

The E-foil automatically turns off (not all models) when you release the hand control. It floats and is easy to climb back on.

Is there a warranty?

All our e-foils come with a 2-year warranty on electronics and 1 year on battery. We also offer support and spare parts.

What is included in the purchase?

Complete package with e-foil, battery, charger, hand controller, transport bag and manual.

How do I maintain my e-foil?

Rinse with fresh water after each use, store dry and charge the battery regularly. Check screws and connections before each use.

Can I change the battery myself?

Yes, most models have replaceable batteries. Extra batteries can be purchased separately.

How much does it cost to charge the battery?

Very little! A full charge costs around 5-10 SEK depending on the electricity price.

Can children use e-foil?

We recommend e-foil for people aged 14 and up, always under adult supervision for younger riders. Weight limits and safety equipment must be followed.
